What is a Bucket Hood?

A soft 100% polyester drawstring cover for storage and travel. It helps separate a hockey helmet and visor or cage from hard or abrasive gear in the bag.
Will it fit my helmet?

It is designed to fit junior and senior hockey helmets, including helmets fitted with a visor or cage. For an unusual setup, email info@buckethoods.com before ordering.
How do I use it?

Wet or dry, slide the helmet visor-first into the crown of the cover, bring the gathered opening behind the helmet, and pull the drawstrings shut. Whenever the helmet is in your gear bag, keep it inside the Bucket Hood. If you unpack to air out your equipment, remove the hood while the helmet dries.
How do I wash it?

Machine wash the Bucket Hood with like colours and tumble dry low. Let the cover dry fully after washing.
Is it protective equipment?

No. A Bucket Hood is a soft storage and travel barrier. It does not provide impact protection, cannot make damaged equipment safe, and is not intended to be worn during play.
